This trivia you might find interesting: Filipinos also eat pufferfish, known down south as "butete", but often to disastrous results. In 2008, DJ Oyee released "Butete -Bisaya version of Low". It's a parody of Flo-Rida's popular rap song "Low, Low, Low, Low", & tells of pufferfish served in a bday party. The song is hilarious. Over Philippine radio, Butete got major airplay last year.
